As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) within Jio’s Network Infrastructure team, you will be trained to translate business, planning, and regulatory mandates into robust physical and logical infrastructure topologies. Your core role involves assisting senior network architects in planning network design and architecture across multiple commercial consumer portfolios. You will execute continuous network capacity planning to proactively expand bandwidth layers, eliminate bottleneck risks, and guarantee a completely congestion-free network environment.
You will deep-dive into the complex engineering aspects behind LTE, 5G, FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) , and highly secure enterprise enterprise networks. Trainees are responsible for generating precise engineering documentation per router/switch node and drafting the monthly operating plan required for planned maintenance window execution. Collaborating across cross-functional infrastructure squads, you will also assist in third-party vendor equipment evaluations, validate hardware performance matrices, and ensure absolute adherence to standard operating processes (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and map requirement specifications originating from corporate business, planning, and regulatory wings.
Contribute to network design blueprints and distributed architecture planning for retail and corporate products.
Execute periodic network capacity planning evaluations to handle soaring data demands and maintain low latency.
