Job Description

  • As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Ingram Micro, you will not be relegated to just shadowing—you will be actively involved in live project deployments. Your professional journey will begin with a highly structured onboarding and training program meticulously designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry application. Working alongside cross-functional engineering teams, you will apply your foundational programming knowledge to solve real business logic problems in our enterprise ecosystem.
  • Your day-to-day will involve writing clean code in languages like Java, Python, or C#, querying databases using SQL, and learning how massive enterprise applications are built and maintained. You will receive continuous feedback from senior developers, allowing you to rapidly upskill in cloud infrastructure, AI integrations, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured tech onboarding and corporate training program to master industry-standard coding practices.
  • Write, test, and debug code for live enterprise applications using Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript .
  • Collaborate daily with experienced technical mentors, product managers, and QA engineers across the Ingram Micro network.
  • Design and execute basic database queries utilizing core SQL concepts .
  • Assist in the modernization of legacy systems and the integration of new Cloud, Data, and AI technologies.
  • Contribute to front-end and back-end web application development pipelines.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Education: Must hold a B.E. or B.Tech degree.
  • Batch Eligibility: Applications are strictly invited from 2026 graduates only .
  • Location Requirement: Applicants must be based locally (in or around Mumbai or Chennai) to be considered for this on-site role.
  • Programming Fundamentals: Strong foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Data Structures.
  • Languages: Practical exposure (through labs, projects, or internships) to at least one major programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Databases: Basic working knowledge of database architectures and SQL querying concepts.
  • Bonus Assets: General awareness of web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), AI, ERP, or legacy systems acts as a strong competitive advantage.
