Job Description

As a Junior AI Engineer at DigitalXNode, you will be at the forefront of the GenAI revolution. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using advanced vector search and embedding technologies. You will design prompt engineering strategies to ensure contextual grounding and optimize response generation performance. This role requires integrating LLM services into scalable backend systems through microservice-based architectures and RESTful APIs .
You will manage AI-driven applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , developing scalable storage mechanisms using PostgreSQL and Firestore . Your responsibilities include implementing reasoning-oriented workflows using chain-based prompting and supporting model enhancement through reinforcement learning concepts. Collaborating via GitHub, you will participate in architecture discussions and research emerging AI frameworks to improve the reliability and operational efficiency of our intelligent platforms.

Develop intelligent AI workflows powered by LLMs and retrieval-based architectures.
Build and maintain RAG pipelines using vector search and embeddings.
Create semantic search systems for context-aware and accurate AI responses.
Design prompt engineering strategies for structured outputs and grounding.
Integrate AI/LLM services into backend systems via APIs and microservices.
Deploy and manage AI applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Develop scalable data retrieval mechanisms using PostgreSQL and Firestore.
Optimize inference workflows and monitor application performance in production.
Collaborate on code reviews and maintain technical documentation using Swagger.

Education: Technical degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and AI architectures.
AI Concepts: Deep understanding of RAG , semantic search, and prompt engineering.
Databases: Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL (Firestore) databases.
Cloud: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for AI deployment.
Tools: Hands-on experience with Postman , Swagger, and GitHub.
Soft Skills: Structured problem-solving ability and strong technical curiosity.
