Job Description
As a Trainee at Indovance, you will be part of a high-performance design team working on diverse architectural and engineering projects. Your primary focus will be creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit . Under the guidance of senior design engineers, you will learn to interpret architectural sketches, site plans, and technical specifications to produce accurate engineering documentation that meets international quality standards.
You will participate in the project lifecycle from concept to final drafting, ensuring all designs are compliant with client-specific requirements. This role offers hands-on experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and CAD standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining project folders, updating design logs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical discrepancies during the design phase.
Key Responsibilities
Create accurate 2D drafts and 3D architectural models using Revit and AutoCAD .
Assist in preparing technical drawings, floor plans, and elevation sections.
Understand and apply international drafting standards and building codes.
Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to refine design concepts.
Ensure timely delivery of design assignments while maintaining high data accuracy.
Participate in internal reviews to identify and correct drafting errors.
Manage and organize digital design assets and project documentation.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: B.E / B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical or B.Arch (Architecture).
Experience: 0 to 6 months. Ideal for recent graduates.
Software: Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
Design: Good understanding of architectural principles and engineering drawing concepts.
Analytical: Strong visualization skills and attention to technical detail.
Soft Skills: Effective communication skills and a strong desire to learn global design trends.
