Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Zebra, you will work closely with senior test engineers and the Test Lead to execute advanced test strategies, maintain automation structures, and support bleeding-edge engineering efforts. Your core responsibilities include:
AI Agent Development: Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of intelligent AI agents utilizing modern frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API) to solve enterprise challenges.
Automation & Workflow Management: Architect, establish, and refine guardrails and best practices for automation script development, ensuring integration with existing enterprise asset systems.
Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex system integrations, manage API security (including key management and SSL configuration), and optimize Python-based AI workflows for scalability and performance.
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with technical leadership to shape internal AI strategies, identifying high-impact use cases for AI tools.
Technical Documentation: Draft, review, and maintain high-quality internal documentation for operational procedures, presenting concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience or exceptional internship experience in software testing, particularly with Android OS testing environments.
Application Development & Scripting: Foundational understanding of application development concepts with exposure to Android Java and/or solid core skills in Python scripting.
ML Testing & MLOps: Familiarity or academic exposure to basic machine learning concepts, data annotation, visualization, and metric tracking frameworks (exposure to tools like Weights & Biases is a plus).
Computer Vision: Basic understanding of or keen interest in computer vision projects and related automated testing challenges.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, highly collaborative, and capable of rapid learning within an Agile framework.
