Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives in the Gen AI and software technology domains. Your focus will be on building and scaling high-performance AI solutions. Key expectations include:
Development & Deployment: Design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with the technology domain. Handle installations, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
AI Innovation: Optimize AI solutions for performance and cost while leveraging RAG architectures, LLM orchestration frameworks, and embedding techniques.
Process Improvement: Review technical assignments requiring deep research and evaluation. Identify opportunities for service quality and system availability improvements.
Risk & Compliance: Provide independent judgment regarding given technology domains relative to security and compliance requirements while demonstrating a strong understanding of Responsible AI practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Present technical recommendations and work efficiently with globally distributed cross-functional Agile teams.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications & Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python/Java and LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
Proficiency in frontend development using React.js specific to AI application interfaces.
Working knowledge of model context protocols, vector databases, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation metrics.
Strong experience with containerization, microservices architectures, and semantic search systems.
Experience with cloud platforms like GCP Vertex AI & Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub).
Previous experience in a BFSI GCC or Product Engineering organization is highly preferred.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years of software engineering experience.
