In this role, you own the frontend system. Your success isn’t measured by personal lines of code, but by the leverage you provide to the people around you. You will build a skills library that encodes Angular patterns and business logic into workflows that non-engineers can invoke. By setting up safe zones and guardrails , you enable Product Managers to contribute safely and Quality Engineers (QEs) to generate test scaffolds from specs without engineering intervention.
You will be at the intersection of AI and Developer Experience (DX). You will create design-to-code workflows that unblock designers, moving from Figma to testable code without waiting in a dev queue. Over six months, you will turn cross-functional AI workflows into a genuine productivity multiplier, ensuring that the AI surfaces of our flagship products, Saige and Explore, feel like seamless, high-performance experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Angular skills library to standardize team patterns.
Create shared AI conventions to keep tooling output consistent across the codebase.
Develop “Safe Zones” that allow PMs and Designers to contribute code safely.
Map frontend architecture to identify debt and cross-functional bottlenecks.
Establish feedback loops with QEs to automate test scaffolding from specs.
Collaborate with designers to automate the path from Figma to real code components.
Optimize the browser as a runtime for complex, AI-streaming interfaces.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience building and shipping Angular projects.
Technical: Solid TypeScript fundamentals and a deep curiosity about browser runtimes.
AI Fluency: Active, day-to-day expertise with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, etc.).
Communication: Ability to translate technical needs for designers, QEs, and PMs.
Preferred: Experience with AI-facing UIs (streaming output, agent interfaces).
Mindset: An instinct for Developer Experience (DX) and making codebases easier to work in.
