Job Description

As a Backend Software Engineer at KlearNow.AI, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling our cutting-edge AI-powered logistics platform. Operating within a high-energy, fast-growing SaaS environment, you will leverage your strong product development experience to design and maintain a robust microservices architecture.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will require you to write highly testable and efficient code, primarily in Java (or Python), and actively write your own unit tests to ensure absolute code reliability. You will work heavily with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, driving continuous integration and seamless deployment for our global supply chain solutions.

Backend Development: Design, build, and optimize high-performance backend systems utilizing Java and microservices architecture.
Code Quality: Write clean, fast, and highly testable code in Java or Python, accompanied by rigorous custom unit tests.
Containerization: Deploy and manage scalable microservices utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Product Innovation: Apply strong product development principles to solve complex problems in global trade, customs clearance, and document automation.
Agile Execution: Thrive in a fast-paced, start-up style environment, delivering critical technical features that directly impact the business.

Core Languages: Must be highly comfortable and proficient in Java. Additional proficiency in Python is an advantage.
Architectural Knowledge: Deep practical understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
DevOps Tools: Proven familiarity and hands-on experience with modern containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
Testing Discipline: Demonstrated ability to write fast, testable code with a strong history of writing independent unit tests.
Bonus Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) projects and protocols is considered a strong plus.
