Your primary focus will be writing functional, repeatable, and automated test code that effectively reduces manual regression efforts while improving software consistency. You will design automation solutions capable of validating complex front-end interfaces, middleware layers, and relational database systems.
  • Operating under moderate guidance within your domain, you will partner closely with core software development engineers to enforce strict quality assurance standards and best practices. This role demands an analytical mindset, basic troubleshooting knowledge to repair broken scripts, and a desire to deliver highly reliable software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Code Development: Write, edit, and optimize automated test code adhering to standard software engineering best practices to ensure reliable and repeatable testing solutions.
  • Codebase Maintenance: Maintain and structure automation test suites within modern version control systems like GIT or SVN.
  • Script Diagnosis: Analyze test execution logs, quickly identify broken test cases, and repair faulty automation scripts back to working order.
  • Execution & Reporting: Execute automated test suites across diverse platforms, evaluate technical results thoroughly, and communicate findings back to the engineering team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with development engineers to align code architecture with robust product automation requirements.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Candidates with an equivalent combination of coursework and relevant tech experience are also considered.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience. This makes it an ideal fit for freshers with strong automated testing foundations or junior QA engineers.
  • Technical Core: Fundamental understanding of basic Software Engineering concepts, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and automated testing methodologies.
  • Version Control: Hands-on exposure or familiarity with version control tools such as GIT or SVN.
  • Aptitude: Strong logical reasoning, ability to learn automated testing frameworks quickly, and a keen eye for finding bugs and system edge cases.
  • Flexibility: High level of accountability, self-motivation, and readiness to adapt to flexible schedules or project timelines when maintaining critical code releases.
