Key Responsibilities

  • Test Case Execution: Write, update, and systematically execute comprehensive test plans and functional test cases designed to validate next-gen wireless features.
  • Script Automation: Develop, expand, and maintain internal test automation frameworks and regression scripts using Python or similar programming tools.
  • Result Diagnostics: Review system logs, analyze product automation testing traces, and quickly identify software performance gaps or architectural defects.
  • Issue Reproduction: Recreate complex customer-facing issues and multi-tier edge cases within controlled physical lab environments.
  • Lab Infrastructure Support: Assist with setting up, reconfiguring, and upgrading software testbeds and physical lab devices (routers, switches, and wireless access points).
  • AI Productivity Adaptation: Learn and adopt modern AI-assisted engineering tools (such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor) to optimize code development, script efficiency, and testing velocity.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Academic Foundation: Full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc) tracking Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an adjacent technical field.
  • Programming Logic: Grounded programming fundamentals built on a strong scripting foundation, preferably utilizing Python.
  • Networking Essentials: Practical familiarity with conceptual internet protocols, routing parameters, and infrastructure standards including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing basics.
  • Problem Solving: Sharp analytical debugging skills combined with a proactive, detail-oriented style for analyzing core system behaviors.
  • Hands-on academic laboratory, project, or internship exposure configuring real networking equipment like routers, hardware switches, or wireless access points.
  • Foundational understanding of core wireless communication structures, specifically Wi-Fi / 802.11 standards.
  • Active entry-level professional networking certifications, such as a **Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)** or working toward its completion.
