Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Bajaj Finserv, your primary purpose is to build highly scalable and performant web and mobile applications. You will operate across both frontend and backend layers, collaborating in a dynamic full-stack environment. Your daily routine will involve developing Server-Side Rendered (SSR) or Static Site Generated (SSG) applications, ensuring maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate complex design wireframes into highly functional, clean code. The role demands an engineer who possesses a strong grasp of both native mobile development fundamentals and modern web development technologies to ensure top-tier performance and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development: Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces utilizing modern React-based frameworks and Next.js.
Full Stack Collaboration: Work seamlessly across frontend and backend layers to contribute to robust API and service architectures.
Design Implementation: Collaborate directly with design teams to translate intuitive UI/UX concepts into reliable, functional code.
Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and seamless cross-browser compatibility.
Mobile & Web Integration: Leverage fundamental concepts of both native mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web frameworks to deliver holistic digital solutions.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Must hold a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
Web Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Angular, Bootstrap, and testing tools like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
Mobile Development Fundamentals: Working knowledge of iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Java, Kotlin), along with mobile debugging tools and testing (Robolectric, Espresso).
DevOps & Tooling: Experience with Version Control (Git), RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, npm, and browser dev tools (Chrome DevTools).
