As an Engineer – Camera Systems at Qualcomm, you will work on cutting-edge camera technologies, image processing, and computer vision algorithms designed for mobile devices and embedded platforms. You will design, evaluate, and optimize software prototypes for hardware acceleration across Qualcomm Snapdragon camera pipelines.
Design computer vision and image processing solutions for embedded devices and camera systems.
Design, prototype, and evaluate algorithms intended for hardware implementation on software models.
Develop and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms for hardware (HW) acceleration.
Support commercial product teams through solution optimization, performance profiling, and benchmarking.
Participate in continuous integration (CI/CD), test regression execution, and software release support.
Apply multi-threading and SIMD software optimizations to maximize efficiency on hardware platforms.

Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA).
Experience: 0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in multimedia or embedded software technologies.
Programming: Strong programming proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
Systems: Practical experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded systems.
Tools: Understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD development frameworks.
Exposure or direct working experience with Vision or Multimedia hardware accelerators.
Hands-on experience developing or tuning image processing algorithms.
Working knowledge of core computer vision algorithms and spatial transformations.
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and clean C/C++ memory management.
Experience with software performance optimization using SIMD instruction sets and multi-threading models.
