Job Description

  • For the Oracle Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Software Developer 1. In this role, you will apply basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, and designing software applications.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks . This is an individual contributor role (IC1) where you will build enhancements within an existing software architecture under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Software Developer 1 at Oracle, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Development: Designing, coding, and developing software programs for databases and applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure system stability.
  • Enhancements: Building enhancements within existing software architectures according to design specifications.
  • Collaboration: Working with the software engineering division to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Learning: Continuously learning new technologies and applying basic software architecture knowledge.

Skills & Eligibility

  • To be eligible for Oracle Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience (IC1 Level).
  • Mandatory Technical Skills (Preferred): Strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python . Solid understanding of SQL and Database concepts (RDBMS). Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms . Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts (OCI/AWS/Azure) is a plus.
