Key Responsibilities

  • As an L1 Support Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a critical frontline role in ensuring the health and integrity of complex cloud data architectures. Your daily routine will involve:
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor massive cloud data pipelines on a continuous 24×7 operational basis.
  • Technology Support: Demonstrate foundational understanding and support capabilities for Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI (PBI) inside production environments.
  • Incident Management: Perform initial incident triage, log tickets accurately, and handle severity classification according to corporate SLAs.
  • Runbook Execution: Swiftly execute documented runbooks and standard recovery procedures to minimize operational downtime.
  • Communications & Collaboration: Maintain active incident communications, log clear diagnostic ticket updates, and execute shift status reporting.
  • Escalation Handling: Efficiently escalate unresolved, complex data pipeline blockages to Level 2 engineering teams with structured diagnostic context.
  • Shift Operations: Operate reliably within a full 24×7 support model consisting of rotating team shifts.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Educational Degree: Must possess a B.E / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a closely related engineering branch.
  • Experience: Open strictly to Freshers with an eager mindset to pick up Cloud Data Platform fundamentals.
  • Technical Awareness: Academic exposure or certification in cloud components (Azure/AWS), databases (SQL), or data pipelines is a strong value add.
  • Aptitude: Exceptional problem-solving skills, willingness to work in night/rotating shifts, and strong professional communication skills.
