Key Responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer I at IQVIA, you will assist with the design and development of software solutions requiring general domain knowledge. Your primary responsibilities include:
Full-Stack Development: Working at all layers of the application stack, encompassing both front-end user interfaces and backend development.
Problem Solving: Troubleshooting code issues and continually evolving IQVIA’s platforms to meet emerging user requirements and needs.
Solution Design: Assisting with the design and development of software solutions based on specific instructions and limited business expertise.
Validation & Quality: Participating in the review of functional specifications and other validation deliverables.
Continuous Learning: Developing an introductory understanding of industry and IQVIA-specific quality standards to support small development projects effectively.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Programming Knowledge: Experience in object-oriented languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python, alongside a solid grasp of fundamental object-oriented principles.
Web Technologies: Experience in website development utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. (Note: React and NodeJS experience is considered a strong bonus).
Database Skills: Understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with basic SQL queries is highly desired.
Experience Level: This role typically requires no prior relevant experience, making it an excellent opportunity for highly skilled freshers and early-career professionals.
