Job Description
As a Junior Software Developer, you will work closely with CoffeeWeb’s senior development team to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and responsive applications. This role serves as a bridge between academic theory and professional execution, allowing you to dive deep into coding, testing, and active IT support tasks.
You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under expert guidance. Whether you are debugging critical application issues, assisting in architectural design, or collaborating across cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in delivering technological solutions that empower the global coffee trade.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development: Assist in the comprehensive designing, coding, and testing of software applications.
Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, optimized, and heavily documented code under the mentorship of senior engineers.
Debugging: Actively troubleshoot, analyze, and debug complex issues within existing software applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members and product managers to understand technical requirements and deliver timely solutions.
Maintenance: Support routine software maintenance, system upgrades, and platform updates as needed.
Continuous Learning: Participate diligently in knowledge-sharing sessions, professional training, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc).
Core Programming: Strong foundational knowledge in programming languages such as Java, React JS, Flutter, DotNet, or C++.
Web Technologies: Basic understanding and practical exposure to fundamental web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Database Management: Familiarity with database architectures (SQL/NoSQL) and a strong grasp of data structures.
Soft Skills: Excellent logical thinking, sharp problem-solving capabilities, and strong communication skills.
Desirable Assets: Prior internship or academic project experience in software development, alongside an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
