Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components in accordance with functional and technical requirements.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression test suites to maintain application quality.
- Identify, log, and track software defects while collaborating closely with software engineering teams for timely resolution.
- Participate actively in unit testing, integration testing, system validation, and user acceptance support.
- Work alongside business analysts and developers to clarify functional requirements and define quality criteria.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives by developing reusable validation scripts and test frameworks.
- Monitor application behavior, perform root-cause analysis on system issues, and recommend reliability improvements.
Skills & Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA).
- Work Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on work experience in software engineering, testing, or database validation.
- Programming Fundamentals: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL .
- Database & Data Validation: Solid foundation in database principles and SQL queries for troubleshooting, defect analysis, and data validation.
- SDLC & STLC Understanding: In-depth comprehension of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Testing & QA Concepts: Experience with manual testing, defect tracking workflows, test case execution, and regression testing scenarios.
- Automation & Version Control: Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and version control tools like Git.
- API & Integration Testing: Awareness of API testing, system integration testing, and quality engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of web application frameworks or development tools like React or Java .
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to analyze defects, pinpoint root causes, and validate fixes.
