Key Responsibilities
Collaborate actively alongside experienced, cross-disciplinary Amazon engineers to conceive, specify, design, and launch business-critical web products.
Architect, build, and deploy high-performance backend software services operating across massively distributed cloud computing clusters.
Create optimization routines to manage large-scale statistical predictions on distributed environments with incredible throughput, low latency, and massive speed parameters.
Engineer distributed storage components, relational/non-relational indexes, and optimized query pipelines designed to be highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and exceptionally cost-effective.
Refine loosely defined structural problems or ambiguous operational needs into concrete, maintainable, and testable source code solutions.
Operate smoothly within an Agile/Scrum development life cycle to iteratively ship stable, production-ready software updates.
Skills & Eligibility
Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 year of non-internship, full-time professional experience operating within an enterprise software development environment.
Core Programming: Hands-on experience programming with at least one modern software language (such as Java, C++, Python, C#, or Go).
Strong baseline analytical capability and programmatic problem-solving workflow.
Education background: Formal Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical or quantitative discipline.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and structural algorithmic efficiency metrics.
