Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will perform annotation and data-related tasks supporting Amazon’s ML data processes.
- Perform simple annotation-related tasks within a defined ML data process.
- Work with audio, image and video files using internal tools and software.
- Participate in data collection activities when scripts and instructions are provided.
- Follow compliance and confidentiality requirements during data collection and annotation.
- Apply grammar, syntax and linguistic rules when generating written content.
- Perform quality audits and verification to maintain internal process quality.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Track annotation and data collection queries and share them with relevant stakeholders.
- Track daily task completion using recommended tools.
- Provide individual status reports as required.
- Adhere to confidentiality and compliance requirements relating to customer data and Amazon.
- Help test new Standard Operating Procedures and ML data tools.
- Provide timely feedback to improve processes and consistency.
- Provide remedial instruction related to tool usage and other topics when required.
Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification .
- The job requires strong written and spoken English skills and the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses .
- Candidates should also be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, following detailed instructions, meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent quality across daily assignments.
- The role combines language quality, data annotation and operational data processing.
- English Language: Strong command of English grammar, syntax and vocabulary.
- Content Writing: Ability to create clear, concise and informative written content.
- Data Annotation: Ability to perform annotation tasks involving audio, image and video files.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate and interpret data to improve process or system performance.
- Quality Checking: Ability to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy across repetitive tasks.
- Microsoft Office: Familiarity with Word, Excel and other Office applications.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet daily deadlines.
- AI Interest: Interest in language, technology and AI advancements.
- Amazon expects candidates to have an analytical mindset and the ability to evaluate and interpret data to improve system or process performance.
- Associates may need to recognize patterns, identify inconsistencies, investigate recurring issues and communicate observations to relevant stakeholders.
