Job Description
As a Business Analyst at Toolyt, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing client requirements to prepare comprehensive BRD (Business Requirement Documents) and FSD (Functional Specification Documents) . You will be responsible for visualizing solutions by creating workflows, use cases, and wireframes using tools like Whimsical . This role requires a perfect blend of technical understanding and client-facing communication to ensure project scope is well-defined and executed smoothly.
You will collaborate with developers and testers throughout the software development life cycle, participating actively in System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . Beyond documentation, you will manage basic database-related activities such as managing queues and external variables. This is a high-impact role where you will proactively identify risks and gaps, presenting your findings and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders to drive successful technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and prepare detailed BRD/FSD documentation.
Create scenarios, use cases, and mock screens/wireframes (Whimsical preferred).
Support project scope definition and resolve requirement conflicts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, PM) for project execution.
Participate in System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Identify and report project risks, dependencies, and potential functional gaps.
Manage basic database activities including queue management and variables.
Present analytical findings and solution recommendations to stakeholders.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills and a technical mindset.
Documentation: Proficiency in writing clear BRDs, FSDs, and user stories.
Tools: Familiarity with wireframing tools like Whimsical or Figma is a plus.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for client interaction.
Frameworks: Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Database: Basic understanding of software systems and database structures.
Advantage: Certifications in Business Analysis (ECBA/CCBA) are a plus.
