Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive software testing strategies.
Create detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
Write and execute test protocols to validate software functionality.
Perform functional and software quality testing.
Develop and maintain automated test cases.
Use automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, and JUnit.
Identify, document, and track software defects.
Use defect tracking and test management systems such as JIRA, TestRail, and ALM.
Perform API testing to validate application interfaces.
Contribute to performance testing activities.
Work with developers and other engineering teams to investigate and resolve defects.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
Support testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Use Git as part of collaborative software development and testing workflows.

Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Fields: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
Testing: Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality control processes.
Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Automation: Experience with Selenium, TestComplete, or JUnit.
Test Documentation: Ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test protocols.
Defect Management: Experience with JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or similar systems.
Agile: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Version Control: Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
API Testing: Understanding of API testing concepts and practices.
Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing is preferred.
Certification: ISTQB or an equivalent software testing certification is preferred.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
