Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will work with the existing data migration team to help convert client data from legacy online banking systems into the data format required by the Q2 platform.
- Construct and schedule automated processes.
- Create custom processing scripts for data migration and technical tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex client application, integration and environment issues.
- Investigate and resolve customer data migration problems.
- Document and track changes made in production environments.
- Manage multiple assignments and prioritize escalated cases.
- Escalate unresolved technical problems to the appropriate teams.
- Work with Implementation Teams, Data Center Operations, QA and Development teams.
- Follow internal change control processes for production modifications.
- Contribute to the knowledge and FAQ database for supported software.
- Follow security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies.
Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates should typically have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 0–2 years of experience .
- The role is suitable for students, recent graduates and early-career candidates who have a technical interest in data, databases and software implementation. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of banking practices is considered helpful, although the role is primarily technical and focused on data migration and application support.

- SQL: Knowledge of relational databases and SQL scripting.
- T-SQL: Experience with advanced SQL scripting and data processing.
- Python: Ability to use Python for scripting and automation.
- .NET: Familiarity with .NET programming.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
- Data Migration: Understanding of data movement and transformation between systems.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to investigate complex application, integration and data migration issues.
- Networking: Basic understanding of remote tools and networking.
- Documentation: Ability to document production changes, issues and solutions clearly.
- Communication: Fluent written and spoken English.
- SQL and advanced T-SQL scripting are among the most important technical requirements for this role.
- Candidates should understand SELECT statements, joins, filtering, grouping, subqueries, stored procedures and data manipulation. Knowledge of SQL Server-specific functionality can also help because the position mentions Microsoft SQL database experience.
