Key Responsibilities
- The intern will support senior team members and contribute to technical projects according to the requirements of the assigned business unit.
- Support senior team members on assigned technical projects.
- Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Suggest possible technical solutions under appropriate guidance.
- Assist with maintaining and updating hardware and software systems.
- Support other technical systems and infrastructure as assigned.
- Attend team meetings and participate in team activities.

- Actively learn about new technologies and methodologies relevant to the work.
- Complete tasks assigned by a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates should be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
- The internship is intended for university or college students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Interns may typically work during school breaks and return to their studies afterward, while part-time internship arrangements may also be available in some countries.
- Candidates should have familiarity with programming languages or technical tools relevant to their assigned work and demonstrate an interest in learning new technologies.
- HPE is looking for students with a combination of basic technical knowledge, analytical ability and collaboration skills.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python, Java, C++ or similar programming languages.
- Technical Interest: Strong interest in high-tech and willingness to learn.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze technical issues and suggest possible solutions.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and senior team members.

- Basic programming or scripting knowledge is an important part of the internship. HPE specifically provides examples such as Python, Java and C++ .
- Students do not necessarily need advanced professional-level programming experience. They should, however, understand fundamental concepts such as variables, conditions, loops, functions, data structures and debugging.
- Academic assignments, personal projects and coding practice can help demonstrate practical understanding of programming concepts.
- The internship requires students to help identify technical issues and suggest solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are therefore important.
- Candidates should practice breaking a technical problem into smaller parts, gathering relevant information, identifying possible causes and evaluating potential solutions.
- Practice reading error messages, tracing program execution and identifying the root cause of coding problems.
- Practice explaining technical concepts clearly and providing concise updates about project progress and issues.
- Important skills include basic programming, problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, time management and a willingness to learn new technologies.
