Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Engineer at OTIS, your primary responsibilities will include:
Reading and analyzing system software requirements to formulate comprehensive test design approaches.
Developing test software aligned with defined coding standards and conducting rigorous system validation tests.
Leveraging and contributing to existing automation framework development.
Supporting product testing, defect triaging, and troubleshooting across concept, design, validation, and production phases.
Interacting frequently with local and global project management teams across multiple time zones.

To qualify for the Associate Engineer position at OTIS, applicants should meet the academic background and skill requirements detailed below:
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or Master in Computer Applications (MCA).
Experience: 0 to 2 years of software testing experience in a product-based company environment.
Test Design: Ability to produce detailed test cases based on high-level and detailed software requirement specifications.
Test Automation: Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and leveraging existing test automation frameworks.
Programming Languages: Familiarity with one or more scripting/programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python .
Software Testing Life Cycle: Deep understanding of the entire system testing process, methodologies, and standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models.
Soft Skills: Strong oral and written English communication skills; self-motivated with a result-driven, go-getter mindset.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to complex technical environments and learn new software tools independently.
