Key Responsibilities

  • As an entry-level Software Systems Engineer, you will work within HPE’s Datacenter Networking division. You will build cloud-native software products, scale automation pipelines using AI Co-pilots, and design software enhancements under the guidance of senior architects.

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software features, tools, and system components for networking and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Write testable, observable, and debuggable code using Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
  • Develop automated test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous execution.
  • Build software leveraging REST and gRPC based microservices APIs.
  • Automate UI/UX testing frameworks and monitor infrastructure metrics using OpenTelemetry or Datadog.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development partners and learn from architectural decision-making.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience writing code (academic projects, internships, or professional experience count).
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Exposure to virtual infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, KVM, Docker, OpenStack, or VMware.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components like Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Exposure to automation tooling such as Ansible, Helm, or Terraform.
  • Working knowledge of REST/gRPC APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like LangChain, FastAPI, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
  • Exposure to Cloud Native GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Argo Workflows).
  • Participation in hackathons, open-source projects, or technical societies (e.g., IEEE).
