Key Responsibilities
- As an IT Engineer I (Applications Dev Specialist) at Honeywell, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional software engineering teams to analyze requirements, build reliable code, and ensure high quality standards across software solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical leads to gather and analyze requirements for software applications.
- Design and develop robust software solutions that align with business requirements and system architectures.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and service reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate custom applications with existing enterprise platforms.
- Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and bug fixes for deployed software systems.
- Follow coding standards, software development best practices, and security guidelines.

Skills & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience Level: Minimum of 0 years of experience in application development and software engineering (Freshers & Early Career Candidates Eligible).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of core software development methodologies, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and clean coding practices.
- Understanding of application testing, debugging techniques, and basic database integration.
- Excellent problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to adapt to new frameworks and stay updated with emerging technologies.
