Job Description

As an Associate QA Engineer, you will work closely with our core Systems team members to provide comprehensive product end-to-end quality assurance. This job involves executing existing test plans, verifying functional behaviors in an Agile environment, identifying failures, and actively debugging issues on end-to-end setups.
You will test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (combining both Software and Hardware) and be in daily contact with developers and device-under-test (DUT) engineers. This role offers immense exposure to advanced QA processes and debugging tools, positioning you directly within the team responsible for ensuring Harmonic’s cutting-edge video and broadband products meet flawless quality standards.

End-to-End Testing: Test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW) and take responsibility for feature-level, end-to-end functional testing.
Agile Execution: Execute detailed test plans to verify the functional behavior of broadband/video products and ensure superior quality in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Failure Debugging: Identify test failures and debug complex system issues across end-to-end network setups.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in daily contact with device-under-test (DUT) development teams and QA engineers from other departments to verify code fixes.
Process Improvement: Gain deep exposure to industry-standard QA processes and utilize advanced debugging tools.

Education: B.Tech or B.E degree exclusively in Electronics and Communication (ECE).
Batch Eligibility: Strictly open to 2024 or 2025 passouts only. Candidates must have absolutely no active backlogs.
Academic Score: Must have secured a minimum of 70% score during the completion of the degree course.
Networking Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge in Layer 3 networking protocols (IP routing, basic subnetting).
Technical Assets (Advantage): Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and familiarity with scripting tools/languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash is considered a strong advantage.
Communication: Fluent in English (both writing and speaking) with a high level of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse engineering groups.
