QualificationB.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics, or related fields
Key Responsibilities
Prototype Testing Support: Assist in planning and executing functional and performance tests for utility-scale solar inverter subsystems. Set up test configurations, instruments, and high-power laboratory setups under technical supervision.
Product Validation: Conduct tests related to thermal behavior, electrical performance, grid condition simulation, ride-through behavior, and power quality validation to verify systems meet strict design rules.
UL & IEC Certification: Compile calibration records, technical data, and documentation needed to satisfy third-party compliance bodies. Assist in testing workflows to achieve international UL and IEC standards.
Laboratory Asset Management: Support daily operations of data acquisition systems (DAQ), power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters safely. Track equipment calibration statuses and maintain test area layout protocols.
Data & Documentation: Record test measurements accurately, document anomalies or discrepancies for senior engineers, and prepare formal engineering test logs and presentations.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely associated quantitative discipline.
Experience Window: 0 to 3 years of experience in product testing, electrical validation, or industrial laboratory operations.
Technical Foundations: Solid basic understanding of power electronics architectures, electrical circuit measurement rules, and handling high-voltage laboratory setups safely.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills, meticulous attention to detail in data documentation, and an active willingness to learn about grid-tied renewable platforms.
Prior internship exposure, academic research project, or industrial testing experience with grid-connected solar inverters or renewable energy power conversion systems.
Familiarity with global safety and performance standards like UL or IEC.
Hands-on familiarity with laboratory instruments like oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters, and DAQ systems.
