Key Responsibilities

  • As an Associate Analyst in the Personal Independence team, you will execute procedures established under EY Global Independence policies to safeguard EY’s brand name as an independent auditing firm.
  • Perform detailed research and analysis on EY professionals’ financial interests and family relationships, including equities, mutual funds, loans, and insurance policies, to determine investment permissibility.
  • Build working knowledge of personal independence concepts, financial products, and global market mechanisms.
  • Maintain and update EY internal independence tools and tracking databases with precise data regarding securities owned, brokerage accounts, and business relationships.
  • Work towards meeting and exceeding individual KPIs while adhering strictly to process timelines and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, regional teams, and project leads for timely execution of compliance requests.
  • Identify, report, and document potential conflicts of interest in accordance with EY Global policies.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Education: Master’s or Postgraduate degree (preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related fields) from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in research, financial analysis, or compliance operations within a professional services or corporate firm.
  • Sound understanding of basic financial products including equities, mutual funds, bonds, pension plans, and insurance instruments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and SharePoint).
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills paired with keen analytical thinking.
  • High level of integrity, ethical mindset, adaptability, and attention to detail when dealing with confidential financial data.
