Job Description

As an Associate AI Engineer at E2M, you will work across the full stack to design and develop AI-native applications end-to-end. Your role involves building REST APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask and integrating them with LLM APIs from OpenAI, Claude, and Hugging Face. You will be instrumental in implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows using embeddings and vector databases such as Pinecone or Supabase Vector.
You will also contribute to the frontend by building responsive components using React and Next.js . Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will use a “vibe coding” approach to rapidly prototype ideas, debug AI pipelines, and handle data-processing tasks with Pandas and NumPy. This role is perfect for a proactive developer who wants to take ownership of outcomes and stay updated with the latest AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

Develop end-to-end AI-native applications (Backend + Frontend).
Build and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask .
Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face) into business applications.
Implement RAG-based workflows using embeddings and vector databases.
Apply advanced Prompt Engineering to improve AI output reliability.
Build responsive frontend screens and dashboards using React or Next.js .
Rapidly prototype ideas with a “ship-and-learn” mindset.
Collaborate with product and business teams to convert requirements into AI features.
Work with databases like PostgreSQL and Supabase for data persistence.

Experience: 1–2 years in software development or AI/ML roles.
Python: Strong fundamentals and hands-on coding experience.
Backend: Working knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
Frontend: Familiarity with React, Next.js, or modern CSS frameworks.
AI Knowledge: Understanding of RAG , embeddings, and vector search concepts.
Tools: Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering patterns.
Preferred: Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex , and AI-native UX patterns.
Soft Skills: Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in ambiguous situations.
