Key Responsibilities

Feature Implementation: Design, implement, and test foundational software updates in Docusign’s centralized events, caching, and queuing systems under senior mentorship.
SDK and Library Development: Contribute directly to internal client libraries and software development kits (SDKs) that standardize cross-service communication with platforms like Kafka, Redis, Azure Service Bus, and GCP Pub/Sub.
System Observability: Boost performance and infrastructure metrics by implementing logging, tracing, and metric collection modules across critical system transaction paths.
Incident Automation: Participate actively in systematic Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) reviews and build automated runbooks to resolve complex infrastructure glitches cleanly.
Secure Coding Execution: Ensure all developed backend code complies with advanced security constraints, including strict handling of secrets, access credentials, and network rules.
Safe Deployments: Partner with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) groups to deploy changes safely via canary releases, feature flag frameworks, and automated configuration management.

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a full-time BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, or equivalent degree track in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or associated technical fields.
Core Fundamentals: Rock-solid grasp of computer science foundations, specifically complex data structures, algorithms, and computational problem-solving.
Coding Skills: Strong programming competencies in at least one object-oriented or systems programming language (such as Java, C#, Python, or Go).
Distributed Systems Awareness: Familiarity with architectural pillars like client-server interactions, system latency, throughput, networking rules (HTTP, TCP/IP), and retry mechanisms.
OS Familiarity: Comfort navigating Linux or relative Unix-like environments via command-line shell tools.
