Key Responsibilities

  • Automation Scripting: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to automate test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing operations.
  • Framework Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade existing testing automation frameworks to adapt to continuous product changes.
  • Test Case Analysis: Analyze manual test cases and proactively identify high-priority candidates for test automation.
  • Defect Tracking: Execute automated test suites, analyze the results to identify regressions or bugs, and report, track, and verify defects accurately in Jira.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and collaborate efficiently with Product Managers, Developers, and other QA team members.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Academic Foundation: Candidates must hold a B.E or B.Tech degree.
  • Programming Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Testing Methodology: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
  • Web Technologies & Data: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, RESTful APIs, and the ability to write basic SQL queries to verify data integrity.
  • Desirable Skills (Good to Have): Familiarity with automation tools like Playwright or Selenium, exposure to version control systems (Git), and a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
