Job Description

As a System Engineer Intern at Codvo.ai, you will play a supportive yet crucial role within our Systems Engineering team. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist in defining critical system requirements, drafting support documentation, and actively contributing to the testing and validation of integrated hardware-software systems—including advanced AI and computer vision-based solutions.
This role is ideal for freshers looking to build a rock-solid foundation in systems engineering, AI integration, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with software, hardware, and AI/ML teams to decode system workflows and help deploy intelligent models into real-world production systems.

Assist in documenting comprehensive system-level requirements under the direct guidance of senior engineers.
Support the preparation of system architecture diagrams and vital interface documentation.
Help maintain basic requirement tracking and traceability utilizing spreadsheets and internal tools.
Participate in defining customer, system, interface (hardware & software), and basic AI/ML model requirements (accuracy and performance).
Support active testing and validation processes, including executing test cases and drafting test reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional software, hardware, and AI/ML teams to understand and map complex system workflows.
Support the integration of AI models into broader systems, gaining fundamental exposure to data pipelines.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing final year) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Programming Fundamentals: Basic understanding of software systems, system design concepts, and strong programming fundamentals (Python is highly preferred).
Technical Familiarity: Foundational knowledge of data structures, APIs, and overall system workflows.
AI/ML Exposure: Basic academic exposure to AI/ML or computer vision concepts. (Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV is a major plus).
Quality & Version Control: Exposure to version control systems like Git and basic software testing/QA processes.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent documentation discipline, and a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
