Key Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer specializing in OneTrust Cookie Management, you will collaborate with global development teams to implement, support, and maintain OneTrust cookie compliance modules across Caterpillar’s web platforms.
- Collaborate with global development teams to implement and support OneTrust cookie compliance modules.
- Assist in consulting and guiding software teams on technical best practices for cookie compliance implementation.
- Perform regular website scans, privacy audits, and coordinate necessary domain updates.
- Provide post-implementation support and operational maintenance across multiple enterprise domains.
- Develop deep functional and technical expertise in the OneTrust trust intelligence platform.
- Maintain, configure, and manage multiple digital domains within the OneTrust module.
- Categorize web cookies, scripts, and tracking technologies according to global privacy regulations.
- Apply organizational cookie compliance and data privacy protection policies effectively.

Skills & Eligibility
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant engineering field.
- Front-End Engineering: Experience in software development with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies.
- Scripting: Working knowledge of Python scripting for automation or data processing.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills with ability to work in global cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to privacy & cookie compliance management platforms (e.g., OneTrust).
- Understanding of web tracking mechanisms, HTTP cookies, local storage, and tag management.
- Familiarity with web auditing tools, privacy governance, or compliance processes (GDPR, CCPA).
