As part of the Customer Engineering team partnering with Sales and Product Engineering, your core operational responsibilities will include:
Driving end-to-end technical evaluation of BrowserStack products for prospective and existing customers.
Coordinating with customer stakeholders (Dev, QA, Security, Network, and Business teams) to resolve technical queries and architectural roadblocks.
Leading Customer Engineering activities including technical discovery, RFP responses, architectural guidance, and L3 support escalations.
Designing technical approaches and custom solutions to enable enterprise clients to achieve seamless testing workflows.
Conducting technical workshops and deep-dive product sessions for customer engineering teams.
Serving as a technical bridge between customers and internal Product & Engineering teams to relay feedback and feature requests with actionable market insights.
Skills & Eligibility
To qualify for the SDE – Customer Engineering role at BrowserStack, applicants must fulfill the following prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA).
Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing (Selenium & API) OR 2026 pass-out graduates with prior technical internship experience.
Location Constraint: Remote position, but candidate must be based in or willing to work out of Mumbai, India.
Test Automation & Development: Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, Selenium, API testing, programming languages, and CI/CD tools.
Software Engineering Principles: Good understanding of Agile software development methodologies, deployment pipelines, and the modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Customer-Facing Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts, conduct architectural guidance sessions, and present product value propositions.
Problem-Solving: Disciplined self-starter capable of breaking down complex software roadblocks into structured solution frameworks.
Time Zone Flexibility: Ability to coordinate with international customers and cross-functional teams across different time zones as required.
