Key Responsibilities

  • As a Junior React.js Engineer at Algoshack, you will be deeply integrated into the lifecycle of core products and browser tools. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Feature Development: Conceptualize, develop, and maintain clean, user-facing interfaces and features utilizing React.js components.
  • Extension Engineering: Build, optimize, and enhance interactive Chrome Extensions using contemporary JavaScript architectures.
  • Code Maintenance: Write modular, scalable, well-documented, and reusable JavaScript scripts to ensure system consistency.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with UI/UX designers and backend development layers to safely map design prototypes to live software states.
  • Debugging & Maintenance: Troubleshoot cross-browser layout anomalies, responsive defects, and execution bugs within browser environments and custom extensions.
  • Code Reviews: Participate actively in developer syncs, technical brainstorming, and code quality optimization cycles.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Core Language Fluency: Absolute command over core vanilla JavaScript concepts.
  • ES6+ Foundations: Deep clarity on modern syntax additions, including closures, asynchronous patterns (async/await), promises, and array manipulation.
  • ReactJS Basics: Practical understanding of basic to intermediate React concepts (components, hooks, lifecycle, prop drilling).
  • Web Fundamentals: Solid command over HTML5, CSS3, DOM structures, browser layouts, and fluid responsive design principles.
  • Extension Frameworks: Foundational knowledge of Chrome Extension architecture, manifests, and system API routing.
  • Version Control: Standard execution patterns using Git for branch tracking and software collaboration.
  • Familiarity establishing asynchronous integrations via REST APIs.
  • Exposure navigating central application state tools like Redux or the native Context API.
  • Familiarity configuring build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or package management via npm.
  • Prior history creating, publishing, or maintaining standard web extensions on the Chrome Web Store is a massive advantage.
