As an Assoc. Cybersecurity Engineer at Visa, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of large-scale cybersecurity initiatives. Key functions include:
Developing innovative solutions to actively protect the Visa brand, networks, assets, and overall products by implementing state-of-the-art detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
Engaging in the technical design of robust solutions based on complex business requirements and security use cases.
Participating in Proof of Concepts (PoC) and conducting technical evaluations of new technologies and security solutions.
Reducing the time-to-detect and time-to-remediate security threats by driving the automation of applied threat intelligence and sensor enrichment.
Developing and expanding comprehensive API frameworks to seamlessly interconnect various internal Security Tools.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and proactively assessing their potential adoption into the Visa ecosystem.
Demonstrating technical leadership and continuously mentoring and developing internal competencies.
Note: Visa currently requires employees to be in the office for at least 3 days a week. Expectations regarding these days will be clearly confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Skills & Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field (OR 3+ years of relevant work experience).
2 or more years of strong work experience in public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Vendor certification in one or more of these cloud platforms is a strict requirement.
Extensive automation experience, including robust coding skills with Python or Terraform.
Strong domain exposure to Cloud Security and engineering security controls in the cloud.
Hands-on usage of CSPM and CNAAP tools, with experience in continuous compliance and addressing vulnerabilities efficiently.
Solid grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of various security domains such as Cloud FW, Security Groups, DDOS, Network Proxy, and Cloud SIEM (e.g., Sumo Logic).
Proficiency with Linux (or similar) operating systems, in-depth understanding of Internet protocols, and exposure to emerging AI technologies.
