Key Responsibilities
- Selected candidates will contribute to the development of user-facing experiences across the JioHotstar ecosystem.
- Own and deliver end-to-end frontend features .
- Build applications with strong performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to deliver new user-facing features on websites and TV applications.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them effectively.
- Build reusable code and cross-functional libraries.
- Contribute to JioStar’s internal design system .
- Document technical solutions using documentation, DFDs and code comments.
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
- Follow software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.
- Contribute to highly scalable distributed applications and operational excellence.
Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates interested in the JioStar Software Development Engineer I Recruitment 2026 should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field .
- 0–2 years of professional experience as a frontend developer.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript .

- UI/UX Implementation: Ability to translate designs into technically feasible frontend implementations.
- Reusable Components: Ability to build reusable code and libraries.
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field along with 0–2 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Important skills include JavaScript, browser concepts, frontend architecture, React or AngularJS, Git and frontend build tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
