Job Description
For the Unisys Internship 2026 drive, the team is looking for eager Interns/Student Techs to develop knowledge and skills within specific technical disciplines. You will perform work assignments under the close direction of a supervisor, manager, or senior-level associate.
This role offers immense flexibility; you may work on an alternating basis (e.g., every other semester) or on a temporary basis, attending school or vocational training during periods of non-work. You will get exposure to diverse areas such as Tech Support, Software Development, Data Analysis, Networking, and DevSecOps.
Key Responsibilities
As an Intern/Student Tech at Unisys, your duties may fall into one or more of the following areas:
Technical Support: Assist with troubleshooting hardware/software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and managing company devices.
Software Development: Write basic code or scripts for internal tools, help test software for bugs, and learn version control and secure coding practices through code reviews.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist with data collection, cleaning, and analysis. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel or PowerPoint.
Networking & Infrastructure: Assist with the installation and configuration of network hardware, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot security concerns.
DevSecOps: Automate routine tasks using scripts, assist with cloud infrastructure management, and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
General Coordination: Help with general project coordination, compile information for reports, and assist with general research.
Skills & Eligibility
To be eligible for the Unisys Internship 2026, candidates must strictly meet the following criteria:
Educational Background: Must hold a High School Diploma or GED. Students currently attending vocational training or school are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience Level: Generally, less than 1 year of experience in the area of responsibility (Freshers are welcome).
Aptitude & Skills: A strong willingness to learn and develop skills within a technical discipline. Basic familiarity with computers, troubleshooting, or simple coding is a plus. Good organizational skills to assist with project coordination and reporting.
