Job Description
As an SDET Intern, you will be embedded with our software engineering team to tackle QA topics head-on. You will participate in requirements reviews to understand new feature developments and assist in designing and executing test cases that ensure our travel platforms are bug-free. Your main goal is to uncover flaws within the interface and update testing procedures to improve overall coverage and user experience for millions of global travelers.
You will contribute to our quality automation projects, focusing specifically on feature releases and backend stability. Working in an Agile environment , you will participate in meetings with product management and development teams to communicate technical concepts clearly. From developing validation reports to maintaining automated test scripts in Java , you will play a key role in making sure every trip booked through tiket.com starts with a smooth digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
Review feature requirements and understand the scope of new developments.
Design, implement, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
Automate test cases in Java to increase testing efficiency and release speed.
Perform platform testing to identify UI/UX flaws and functional errors.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve QA-related issues.
Maintain detailed documentation, including test plans and validation reports.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and stakeholder updates.
Continuously update testing procedures to improve user experience metrics.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Pursuing or completed a technical degree (B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA).
Programming: Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Testing Knowledge: Exposure to testing methodologies, specifically for Mobile apps or Backend.
Communication: Ability to explain technical issues clearly to internal stakeholders.
Mindset: A proactive attitude toward finding flaws and improving software quality.
Tools: Familiarity with basic automation tools or manual testing practices is a plus.
