Key Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and support observability tooling for Teradata’s products across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Define, configure, and deploy monitoring systems to measure performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency.
Create alerts when critical performance or operational thresholds are crossed.
Build concise and impactful dashboards displaying infrastructure-level and application-level telemetry.
Monitor different layers of Teradata’s application stack, from customer-facing interfaces through backend services.
Monitor network layers, databases, and cloud service provider integrations.
Continuously improve observability tools to reduce mean time to discover and mean time to recover.
Work closely with product engineering and cloud operations teams.
Support observability tooling across both pre-production and production environments.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to provide evidence required for compliance obligations.

The candidates should possess B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in a relevant field.
1–3 years of experience in the software industry, preferably in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
Experience with at least one major cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
At least 1 year of administrative-level experience with Grafana or an equivalent observability platform.
Experience onboarding users, defining group policies, creating monitors, alerts, and dashboards.
Experience integrating observability platforms with enterprise applications such as ServiceNow.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform .
Experience with a modern programming language such as Python .
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet .
Experience with build and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo .
Experience with source control tools, preferably Git .
Experience with defect tracking tools, preferably Jira .
Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and their use cases.
Experience administering Linux-based systems .
