Job Description

As a Test Automation Apprentice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our AI solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements alongside business analysts and translating them into automated functional test cases. A key highlight of this role is the opportunity to experiment with AI Copilot prompts , ensuring that AI-assisted features are efficient and deliver measurable outcomes for our clients.
You will manage the Regression Test suite , performing script adaptations and executing functional tests on owned domains. When defects are identified, you will log and track them through the entire lifecycle, coordinating closely with development teams for timely fixes. This role requires a balance of traditional automation logic and a creative mindset to leverage AI tools for fast-tracking manual and automation workflows.

Analyze requirements and clarify them with customers or business analysts.
Write, automate, and execute functional test cases .
Perform script adaptation and maintenance for the Regression Test suite.
Identify, document, and track software defects until closure.
Coordinate with developers to ensure effective defect resolution.
Experiment with Copilot prompts to validate AI-assisted accuracy and reliability.
Log and analyze issues arising specifically from AI tool interactions.
Leverage AI-driven tools to accelerate manual and automation testing cycles.
Adhere to defined QA standards and software testing best practices.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CS/IT/ECE) or MCA.
Foundations: Good understanding of software testing concepts and the SDLC.
Logic: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for defect tracking.
Communication: Ability to interact effectively with developers and stakeholders.
AI Interest: High curiosity about AI tools, LLMs, and prompt-based testing.
Tools (Good to have): Basic familiarity with Selenium, Java/Python, or SQL.
Attributes: Humble, eager to learn, and capable of independent ownership.
