Key Responsibilities
Support software development activities.
Assist with software testing, debugging and maintenance.
Develop backend services, utilities and automation scripts under guidance.
Participate in software design discussions.
Participate in code reviews.
Contribute to feature implementation.
Support API integration activities.
Assist with data processing.
Support system monitoring activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Apply coding standards and software engineering best practices.
Work with Agile methodologies.
Support CI/CD and automation initiatives where applicable.
Contribute to cloud-based development activities where applicable.
Skills & Eligibility

Candidates should have a strong academic background.
Good understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures is expected.
Knowledge of Python, C++, Java or similar programming languages is required.
Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts is expected.
Familiarity with a Linux environment is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important.
Good communication and collaboration abilities are required.
Programming fundamentals are a core requirement for the role. Candidates should have practical familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, C++ or Java.
Python can be used for automation scripts, utilities, backend development and data processing. Candidates should understand functions, classes, modules, data structures, exception handling and basic file operations.
C++ is relevant to systems and performance-oriented software. Candidates should understand basic syntax, object-oriented programming, memory concepts and standard data structures.
Java is another accepted programming language. Candidates should understand object-oriented programming, classes, interfaces, collections and exception handling at a fundamental level.
Candidates should have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech qualification in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or Data Science.
