The selected candidate will support payroll and HR services for employees and managers across the APAC region.
Provide customer service to Salesforce employees and managers through Basecamp and other support channels.
Respond to payroll, benefits, time off, compensation, immigration, HR policy and employee data inquiries.
Record and manage customer interactions using the designated case management system.
Follow assigned cases through investigation, resolution and closure.
Support the knowledge base by creating, updating and improving employee-facing knowledge articles.
Partner with third-party payroll vendors such as ADP to support accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Validate employee data changes and help maintain synchronization between HR systems and payroll providers.
Develop knowledge of Workday and support employee and manager self-service processes.
Identify inefficient processes and support AI-driven improvements and automation.
Maintain appropriate knowledge of regional HR, payroll and policy requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements and AI-enabled HR tools.
Participate in regional and global projects designed to improve payroll and employee service processes.
Skills & Eligibility
Candidates should have a BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BMS or MBA degree or a related educational background relevant to payroll, HR or business operations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required in a payroll, HR or shared services environment supporting APAC countries, specifically including India, Australia and Singapore .
Candidates should also have strong problem-solving, communication and data integrity skills and be comfortable working in a multinational HR shared services environment.
The role combines payroll operations, HR technology, employee support and regional compliance.
APAC Payroll: Experience supporting payroll processes across India, Australia and Singapore.
Workday HCM: Prior experience with Workday or a similar HRIS is highly desirable.
Case Management: Experience using case management systems to track and resolve employee requests.
Payroll Vendors: Experience working with third-party payroll providers such as ADP.
Payroll Compliance: Understanding of regional payroll legislation, statutory contributions and tax deductions.
Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with Superannuation in Australia and CPF in Singapore.
Data Integrity: Strong attention to employee data accuracy and validation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive employee and payroll information securely.
AI and Automation: Ability to learn new technologies and identify opportunities for process automation.
Practice data validation, filtering, lookups, reconciliation and reporting to improve employee and payroll data accuracy.
Practice identifying the root cause of payroll discrepancies and designing corrective actions while considering business and employee impact.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, HR or shared services environments supporting APAC countries.
