Job Description

As a Junior Analyst at Razorpay under the Razorpay Recruitment 2026 drive, you will be on the front lines of the Risk Management team. Your primary objective is to monitor merchant transactions to identify potential fraud or high-risk activity and take immediate corrective action. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and exceptional interpersonal skills to manage disputes effectively.
You will handle complex chargeback processes, working closely with partner banks and the Cybercell to ensure timely recovery of funds. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who can multitask under pressure and are eager to learn the intricacies of Visa/Mastercard guidelines and the technical aspects of fraud prevention in the digital payments industry.

Proactively monitor transactions and merchant profiles to identify risk/fraud trends.
Handle transaction queries and resolve discrepancies when disputes arise from customers.
Collaborate with partner banks and Cybercell to manage chargebacks and ensure fund recovery.
Communicate directly with merchants and customers to resolve queries and address concerns via phone or email.
Provide inputs on process enhancements to reduce risks and minimize monetary losses for the organization.
Ensure all actions are aligned with current Visa/Mastercard guidelines and internal risk policies.
Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple stakeholder queries.

Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree (Any discipline is welcome).
Experience: Freshers (Knowledge of CRM tools like Freshdesk is a significant plus).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with chargeback stages, arbitration penalties, and fraud reason codes.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a pleasant professional demeanor.
Analytical Skills: Strong listening skills and the ability to anticipate/resolve complex queries.
Organization: Excellent multitasking abilities and a keen eye for detail.
