As a Software Engineer Intern at Intuit, you will gain hands-on experience in modern software engineering practices, participating in agile development, code reviews, design discussions, and shift-left paradigms across DevOps, Quality Engineering, and Performance Engineering.
Assist in the design, development, unit testing, and deployment of scalable software applications and cloud systems.
Participate actively in peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and system quality.
Help troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects in production and staging environments.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, senior engineering leaders, and product managers to deliver features.
Support continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and modern DevOps tools.

Skills & Eligibility
Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program: B.E / B.Tech or Integrated M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must return to their academic degree program at the end of the Summer 2027 internship .
Strong foundation in core software engineering principles and computer science fundamentals.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
Practical experience with at least one core backend language: Java, C++, or C# .
Preferred Web Development Skills: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, D/HTML, XML, or modern front-end frameworks.
Exposure to current best practices in front-end architecture, application performance, usability, and web accessibility.
