Job Description
As a Software Engineer Associate at Infor, you will join the Mongoose platform team, focusing on designing and delivering scalable software applications. Your day-to-day work involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C# and modern .NET frameworks. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architectural discussions and technical decision-making to debugging and resolving complex technical issues.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, QA, and UX, to ensure a seamless product lifecycle. The role follows Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and emphasizes a culture of performance, reliability, and security. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your foundation in data structures and algorithms while gaining exposure to cloud platforms and backend development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable enterprise software.
Write clean and maintainable code in C# following SOLID and OOP principles.
Collaborate with UX and QA teams to deliver best-in-class user solutions.
Identify, debug, and provide resolutions for complex technical bottlenecks.
Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Engage actively in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Support the integration of RESTful APIs and backend web services.
Continuously optimize existing systems for better performance and security.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 0 – 3 Years of hands-on experience in .NET development using C#.
OOP: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns.
Fundamentals: Solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.
Database: Familiarity with Relational Databases (SQL Server) and exposure to NoSQL.
Version Control: Experience using Git for source code management.
Preferred: Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and RESTful APIs.
