Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with silicon validation and characterization teams to understand testing requirements.
  • Understand requirements for different revisions of semiconductor silicon.
  • Develop and maintain test lists for silicon validation.
  • Build automated test suites involving software and firmware.
  • Perform FPGA-based pre-silicon validation.
  • Perform post-silicon validation and characterization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and debug hardware and software issues.
  • Develop Python-based automation for laboratory bench testing.
  • Use LabVIEW for test equipment automation and characterization activities.
  • Support silicon validation and characterization testing.
  • Work with analog, digital, and mixed-signal IPs during characterization.
  • Use electronic measurement equipment such as SMUs, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Coordinate schedules and project activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate test results, issues, and project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support project execution and engineering validation activities.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Microcontrollers: Understanding of microcontroller and SoC products.
  • Silicon Validation: Experience or understanding of bench characterization and silicon validation.
  • Analog/Digital: Exposure to analog, digital, and mixed-signal IPs.
  • Programming: Good understanding of C and Python.
  • Test Automation: Experience or interest in automating semiconductor and electronic testing.
  • LabVIEW: Knowledge of LabVIEW is a strong advantage.
  • Electronic Circuits: Good understanding of electronic circuits, regulators, and reference measurements.
  • Test Equipment: Hands-on experience with SMUs, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • FPGA: Understanding of FPGA validation is relevant to the role.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
