Key Responsibilities

  • As an Intern at HARMAN, you will be part of a highly dynamic and fast-paced team working on disruptive technologies within the automotive sector. Your responsibilities and learning opportunities will include:
  • Working across a vast array of technology areas such as Embedded RTOS, Android, C/C++, and Linux.
  • Contributing to software programs and the development of modern software systems.
  • Gaining the opportunity to deliver challenging work across multi-layered software stacks that require niche technical skills.
  • Applying original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, and systems to better serve customer needs.
  • Honing your engineering skills by keeping up with ever-changing automotive trends and best practices.

Skills & Eligibility

  • BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics.
  • Students pursuing their undergraduate/postgraduate degree programs where an internship is a mandatory requirement, or those who have completed their studies and are looking for short work experience.
  • Basic knowledge and technical understanding of software development.
  • Basic knowledge and interest in working with C++, C, and Linux.
  • Desirable to have a fundamental understanding of Android basics.
  • Willingness to learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
  • Willingness to learn to perform software releases and quality assurance activities.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills.
  • A positive attitude towards learning and collaborating in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Prefer candidates willing to work from the office.
  • Hands-on experience in code development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Taking the initiative to achieve superior, quality results against internal or external standards of excellence.
