Job Description

As an Associate Software Engineer at Gallagher, you will make a significant impact by developing and maintaining robust web applications across the full stack. Your role involves coding individually or assisting team members using C# .NET Core and Angular . You will be responsible for documenting technical specifications, user guides, and business requirements. Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will participate in solution architecture discussions and project management meetings to ensure quality delivery.
You will leverage your expertise in SQL database scripting (T-SQL or PL/SQL) to manage data-driven features and troubleshoot system issues. Your responsibilities include ensuring that frontend components follow responsive web design principles and web application security best practices. Beyond technical output, you will stay abreast of the latest advances in software design patterns and object-oriented design to maintain the standards of excellence upheld by the Gallagher GCoE.

Develop high-quality code using C# .NET Core, Angular, and SQL .
Document requirements, technical specifications, and user manuals clearly.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions.
Write and optimize SQL database scripts for data integrity and performance.
Ensure project compliance with organizational processes and standards.
Communicate effectively with global teams to drive project clarity.
Implement responsive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Identify ambiguity in technical tasks and drive for clear solutions under pressure.

Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering or Master’s in Computer Science/MCA.
Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on software development experience.
Backend: Sound knowledge of ASP.NET Core and C# .
Frontend: Recent experience with Angular , HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Database: Mandatory experience in writing T-SQL or PL/SQL scripts.
Frameworks: Understanding of Responsive Design (Bootstrap) and Design Patterns.
Bonus Skills: Exposure to DNN, Crystal Reports, Oracle, or Bootstrap is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, debugging, and verbal/written communication skills.
